We’re not talking about ax murderers here, but we are talking about a band that STILL plays to this very day and has one of the biggest local SOCAL followings ever! I just wish the shoot was more fun.

Now, remember I said it wasn’t always easy being a cutie with a camera in a pit of dudes? Well, this was a GREAT example. Lizzie Borden, much like many metal concerts, is one big sausage fest! Unfortunately for me, some acted like they haven’t seen a woman in years.

This night, I learned what a mosh pit was the hard way! Seems one of the fans couldn’t keep their fucking hands to themselves and groped me! Oh, and no, I wasn’t dressed provocatively either. When I photographed I was ALL business. Anyway, I immediately knew which pig it was and without blinking an eye, I smacked him VERY hard with my heavy metal zoom lens! I guess I hurt the douche bag because he started screaming at me and attempted to raise his fist. Just then a HUGE tall guy grabbed his arm and pulled this jerk away from me. He yelled something to the guy and dragged him away. That was it, he was gone. After that my big tall hero offered to put me up on his shoulders so that I could get out of the crowd. I just offered to buy him a drink!  Who says the age of chivalry is dead?
